Book Adventure: sponsored by Sylvan. It is a FREE reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. Children create their own book lists from over 6,000 recommended titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read offline, and earn points and prizes for their literary successes.

Kidsreads.com: A place on the web for kids to find info about their favorite books, series and authors. Reviews of the newest titles, interviews with the coolest authors and special features on great books are our specialties.
Lots of Lists: David K. Brown, Director of Doucette Library of Teaching Resources at the University of Calgary, offers links to many different lists, arranged by year and by category, of great books for children.
Notable Children's Books: The Association for Library Service to Children's (American Library Association) lists of notable children's books for each year offer excellent reading suggestions arranged by age interest.
TLA - The Texas Bluebonnet Award:A history and purpose of the Texas Bluebonnet Awards as well as see the list of this year's Texas Bluebonnet Award nominees, a list of last year's nominees, and the list of previous winners.
