Our School Broadcast
Our school has a broadcast in the library every day. Students in 5th grade are responsible for running the show and learning the technology in order to participate in our daily video announcements. Students are assigned jobs and then come to the library to practice to be on air the following day. The broadcast is recorded daily and when a class is finished, they will have an opportunity to purchase a DVD of their broadcast. All 5th grade students are expected to participate to learn technology while using their life skills and 7 habits. This is a great way for students to learn how important it is to work together as a team. Students are also expected to attend practice the day before in order to be on air the following day.
Students must arrive by 7:30 a.m. to participate in the live broadcast.
If a student does not arrive on time, he/she will not be able to participate that morning or afternoon.
This is a great way for students to learn the life-skill of responsibility.
See your child's teacher for specific expectations that we have of all students participating.
Parents can purchase a copy of their child's experience on KGOE. Just fill out this form and turn it in to your child's teacher.
